What is Web Hosting? Why do I need it?
Web hosting providers, such as us, are much like real estate agents. To make a website available on the internet, you must pay for web hosting (think of it as land, but on the internet) which is similar to rent. The amount you pay is based on the amount of space you're provided with and the features that come with such hosting (think of it as square metres!). You then build your website on this space which is then available for all internet users to access via your domain name (think of it as your street address!).
