Web Design Process

  1. Initital Contact

The initial contact will usually include a telephone call and/or an exchange of emails. We will use this opportunity to establish your core website requirements, time scale limitations and budget availability.

  2. Quotation

A quotation will be provided after the initial contact. If further information is required to complete the quotation, this will be gathered to ensure an accurate quotation. If the quote is accepted, domain and hosting fees will be payable upfront. If these are not required, a 50% deposit is invoiced for web design work which will commence as soon as this is paid.

  3. Web Design

The website design concept will be based on the brief and how we have interpreted it. The concept will be made available for feedback and/or amendments. Once any design changes have been made and you are happy with the design we will request sign off so work on the site can commence.

  4. Template Building

Your website design will be built into W3C compliant CSS/XHTML templates. These templates will be validated and tested across a number of web browsers.

  5. Content Management System Implementation

After the templates have been fully tested they are implemented into the Content Management System (CMS), if applicable.

  6. Content Added

All content you have provided us in electronic format will be added to the site. It will be proof-read and checked for any obvious errors.

  7. Testing and Validation

When the website is fully operational a second round of validation and testing will take place. This will detect and resolve any issues caused by the CMS and/or content.

  8. Completion

Upon completion of the site we will notify you of the temporary URL so you can check all content yourself. If applicable, any last minute changes will be made.

  9. Site Goes Live

After any amendments have been completed, a final invoice will be issued for the cost of the site, or if no domain or hosting is required the final invoice will be for the 50% remaining for web design. Once this invoice has been paid the site will be made live.

  10. Marketing

Any Web Marketing initiatives you wish us to undertake can be arranged to coincide with the site launch.
